Diving goggles are not allowed in the swimming pool because they are designed for use in deep water and can obstruct peripheral vision, increasing the risk of collisions with other swimmers. Additionally, diving goggles are not necessary for swimming laps or recreational swimming in a pool with clear water. The use of diving goggles in a swimming pool can also create a safety hazard if the wearer dives into shallow water thinking it is deeper than it actually is. **

1150 is a terminating decimal because it can be expressed as a finite decimal number without any repeating digits. In this case, 1150 can be written as 1150.000000... with no repeating pattern. **

Finite decimal numbers are decimal numbers that have a limited number of digits after the decimal point, meaning they terminate or end. On the other hand, decimal numbers can be finite or infinite. Infinite decimal numbers have a repeating pattern of digits after the decimal point, such as 1/3 = 0.3333... The key difference is that finite decimal numbers have a definite endpoint, while decimal numbers can either terminate or have a repeating pattern. **

To multiply decimal numbers and decimal fractions, you simply multiply the numbers as if they were whole numbers and then place the decimal point in the product so that it has the same number of decimal places as the total number of decimal places in the factors. For dividing decimal numbers and fractions, you move the decimal point to the right in both the dividend and the divisor until the divisor is a whole number. Then, you perform the division as if they were whole numbers and place the decimal point in the quotient so that it has the same number of decimal places as the total number of decimal places in the dividend. **

To round decimal numbers in SQLite to two decimal places, you can use the `ROUND()` function. For example, to round a column named `price` to two decimal places, you can use the following query: `SELECT ROUND(price, 2) FROM table_name;`. This will round the `price` column to two decimal places in the result set. **

Decimal numbers are a way of representing numbers that include a decimal point, allowing for values between whole numbers. They are based on the powers of 10, with each digit to the right of the decimal point representing a decreasing power of 10 (e.g. tenths, hundredths, thousandths, etc.). Decimal numbers are commonly used in everyday life for measurements, money, and other precise quantities. They are also used in mathematical calculations and are an essential part of the decimal system. **

Decimal fractions are a way of representing parts of a whole number. They are numbers that are expressed in decimal form, with a decimal point separating the whole number part from the fractional part. The fractional part is a number less than 1, and it is expressed in terms of tenths, hundredths, thousandths, and so on. For example, 0.5 represents half, 0.75 represents three-quarters, and 0.25 represents one-quarter. Decimal fractions are commonly used in everyday life for measurements, money, and percentages. **

To convert a decimal number given in percentage to a decimal number, you simply divide the percentage by 100. For example, if you have a percentage of 25%, you would divide 25 by 100 to get 0.25 as the decimal equivalent. This is because a percentage is a fraction of 100, so dividing by 100 converts it to a decimal. **
