The exact cause of the Reichstag fire is still a matter of debate, but it is widely believed that the fire was intentionally set by the Nazis as a pretext to consolidate their power. The fire provided the Nazis with an opportunity to blame the Communists and other political opponents, leading to the suspension of civil liberties and the eventual passage of the Enabling Act, which gave Hitler dictatorial powers. This event allowed the Nazis to further suppress opposition and solidify their control over the government and the country. **

The appropriateness of the Reichstag moat depends on one's perspective. From a historical and architectural standpoint, the moat adds to the overall aesthetic and historical significance of the Reichstag building. It also serves as a reminder of the building's past and the changes it has undergone over the years. However, some may argue that the moat creates a physical barrier and may not align with the modern, open and accessible nature of the building. Ultimately, the appropriateness of the moat is subjective and depends on one's interpretation of its historical significance and its impact on the building's accessibility. **

Diving goggles are not allowed in the swimming pool because they are designed for use in deep water and can obstruct peripheral vision, increasing the risk of collisions with other swimmers. Additionally, diving goggles are not necessary for swimming laps or recreational swimming in a pool with clear water. The use of diving goggles in a swimming pool can also create a safety hazard if the wearer dives into shallow water thinking it is deeper than it actually is. **
