According to Roman mythology, Remus and Romulus were twin brothers who were said to have founded the city of Rome. Legend has it that they were raised by a she-wolf and later decided to build a city on the site where they were found. Romulus eventually killed Remus in a dispute over the city's location, and went on to become the first king of Rome. While the story of Remus and Romulus is a foundational myth in Roman history, historians believe that Rome was actually founded by a group of Latin and Sabine tribes. **

Romulus and Remus are descendants of Aeneas through their mother, Rhea Silvia. According to Roman mythology, Rhea Silvia was a Vestal Virgin who gave birth to the twins after being impregnated by the god Mars. Aeneas, on the other hand, was a Trojan hero and the legendary founder of Rome. Therefore, Romulus and Remus are considered to be descendants of Aeneas, linking their lineage to the founding of Rome. **

Romulus decided to steal the Sabine women because his newly founded city of Rome was in need of women to ensure its survival and growth. The population of Rome was predominantly male, and Romulus saw the abduction of the Sabine women as a way to increase the population and establish families within the city. Additionally, the Sabine women were seen as desirable and suitable matches for the Roman men, making them a target for Romulus's plan to secure the future of Rome. **

Diving goggles are not allowed in the swimming pool because they are designed for use in deep water and can obstruct peripheral vision, increasing the risk of collisions with other swimmers. Additionally, diving goggles are not necessary for swimming laps or recreational swimming in a pool with clear water. The use of diving goggles in a swimming pool can also create a safety hazard if the wearer dives into shallow water thinking it is deeper than it actually is. **

Using a diving mask instead of swimming goggles can provide a wider field of vision and better visibility underwater. Diving masks are designed to create a watertight seal around the eyes and nose, preventing water from entering. They also typically have a nose pocket for equalizing pressure while diving. However, diving masks may be bulkier and less streamlined than swimming goggles, which could affect comfort and performance while swimming laps. **

Yes, the name of the last Western Roman Emperor, Romulus Augustus, is somewhat ironic. Romulus was the legendary founder and first king of Rome, and Augustus was the title given to the first Roman Emperor, Octavian. By naming the last emperor after these two significant figures in Roman history, it seems to highlight the end of an era and the decline of the Roman Empire. It's almost as if the name itself is a reminder of the empire's rise and fall. **
