Snowboarders wear mittens because they provide better insulation and warmth compared to gloves. Mittens keep the fingers together, allowing them to share body heat and maintain a higher overall temperature. This is especially important in cold and snowy conditions. Additionally, mittens offer better dexterity and flexibility, allowing snowboarders to easily grip their equipment and perform tricks. **

Digging mittens with closure are specialized gloves designed for gardening and outdoor work. They typically have a reinforced palm and fingers for protection while digging in soil or handling tools. The closure feature allows for a snug fit around the wrist, preventing dirt and debris from getting inside the gloves. Diving goggles are not allowed in the swimming pool because they are designed for use in deep water and can obstruct peripheral vision, increasing the risk of collisions with other swimmers. Additionally, diving goggles are not necessary for swimming laps or recreational swimming in a pool with clear water. The use of diving goggles in a swimming pool can also create a safety hazard if the wearer dives into shallow water thinking it is deeper than it actually is. **
